Defense wants polygraph admitted

3 defendants, including a local lawyer, face 5 to 99 years if convicted of sexual assault

Lawyers representing three defendants accused of sexual assault in Red River County want polygraph results admitted at their criminal trial in January. Attorney Mark Lesher, his wife Rhonda Lesher and Red McCarver face charges of aggravated sexual assault for allegedly drugging and raping a woman in the summer of 2007. McCarver’s lawyer, Craig Henry of Texarkana, filed a motion Monday to have his client’s polygraph results admitted into evidence.
