PROTECTION - NOTICE is hereby given as required by 19 U.S.c. § 1607, and in accordance with 19 C.F.R. § 162.45, of the seizure and intent to forfeit and dispose
of according to law, property consisting of (1) 2007 Toyota Tundra VIN#5TFRV54167X032073 with a total appraised domestic value of $15,375.00 was seized in DeQueen, AR on March 15,2012 at 10:50 pm, under case 2012202600001101. The vehicle was seized and subject to forfeiture under the provisions of Title 18, United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 981 and Title 19, Code fo Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) Section 162.45A for violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956 as proceeds of narcotics trafficking; 18 U.S.C. § 545 smuggling goods into the United States;; and 21 U.S.C. § 952, importation of controlled substances. In addition, this incident may also be subject to civil and criminal provisions of 21 U.S.c. § 331; 21 U.S.C. § 881; 21 U.S.C. § 841; 21 U.S.C. § 846; 19 U.S.C. § 1433; 19 U.S.c. § 1436; and 19 U.S.c. § 1459. Any person desiring to claim the property must appear at the CBP, Office of the Fines, Penalties & Forfeitures Officer, 3150 Tchulahoma, Ste 1, Memphis, TN and file within twenty (20) days from the date of the first publication of the notice a claim to such property; if this forfeiture is not subject to the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act, a bond in the amount of $5,000 or 10 percent of the value of the claimed property, whichever is lower, but not less than $250 must also be posted with the claim, in default of which the property will be disposed of in accordance with law.
