The Planning Commission of the City of Texarkana, Arkansas will convene in regular session Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Boardroom (2nd floor) of the Arkansas City Hall Building at 216 Walnut Street to consider the following:
Adoption of the minutes from the May 14, 2013 regular meeting. 
Petition by UAMS (c/o Dennis P. "Patrick" Evans, Center Director), 300 East 6th Street, Texarkana, AR 71854-5207 to abandon the 45-0" Right-of-Way along the North and West sides of the property located at 3417 U of A Way.  The Right-of-Way is legally described as the dedicated, unimproved 45-0" Right-of-Way along the North and West sides of a tract of land located in the SE1/4, SW1/4, Section 4, Township-15-South, Range-28-West (containing 5.0 acres of land, more or less), Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas.  The property is zoned C-3 Open Display Commercial  and is located at the SE corner if IH30 and Arkansas Loop #245.
Request by Mack and Louise Armstrong, 466 Lindsey Lane, Texarkana, AR 71854-1448 to rezone a tract of land legally described as a part of the S1/2, SE1/4, NE1/4, Section 9, Township-16-South, Range-28-West (containing 5.0 acres of land, more or less) from RM Residential Manufactured Home to R-1 Rural Residential.  The property is located at  4401 Blackman Ferry Road.
Request by Derek Pace (c/o MTG Engineers, Inc., agent) 5930 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, TX 75503 for final plat approval of the replat of the 3-lot commercial TRINITY SQUARE EAST SUBDIVISION.  The property is legally described as a REPLAT OF LOT NO. 2 OF THE REPLAT OF LOTS 2 and 3 of TRINITY SQUARE SUBDIVISION.  The property is zoned C-4 Crossroads Business Park and is located in the 2400 block of Trinity Boulevard.  The replat includes the request for a 30-0" access easement to Lot No. 3 in lieu of direct access to Trinity Boulevard.
Conduct a public hearing to review and discuss amendments to the outdoor advertising structure (billboard) ordinance governing: 1) spacing; 2) upgrading existing billboards due to spacing; 3) providing for digital billboards; and, 4) incorporating revised definitions etc. 
Election of Officers - Elect a chairperson and vice-chairperson to serve from July 2013 through June 2014.
