INVITATION FOR BID The City of Texarkana, Arkansas will receive bids for a fully engineered clear span metal bridge. Qualified suppliers must have at least 5 years experience fabricating these type structures. the bridge span shall be 32’-0’’ (measured from each end of the bridge) by 8’-0’’ (measured from the inside face of structural elements at decklevel). Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the office of the Public Works Directors located at City Hall, Third and Walnut Streets, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bid Documents, including Technical Specifications, are on file at the following location: City of Texarkana, Arkansas, Public Works Director’s Office, located at City Hall, Third and Walnut Street, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854 Bids may be held by the City of Texarkana, Arkansas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
