LEAGAL ADVERTISEMENT The Local Federal Coordinating Committee is accepting applications for admission in the 2008-2009 Greater Texarkana Area Combined Federal Campaign during the period of March 17, 2008 through April 17, 2008. Local voluntary human health and welfare organizations recognized by the IRS as tax exempt under 26 USC 501c(3), are eligible to apply. Organizations interested in applying for participation in the campaign should send applications and/or requests for further information to: United Way of Greater Texarkana, 214 Spruce, Texarkana, TX 75501. Applications of local voluntary organizations must be received by 5:00pm on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Rules and regulations concerning the CFC process are provided in 5 CFR Volume 950, dated November 24, 1995.
