Dockery demands witnesses

Prosecutor says most subpoenas unnecessary

Former Garland City, Ark., Mayor Yvonne Dockery wants the county to subpoena 17 people to testify at her upcoming trial for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. However, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Courtney Miller has filed a motion claiming the subpoenas for most of Dockery’s witnesses are unnecessary. Dockery is accused of causing a disturbance March 3 at Garland City’s City Hall. Police were called and Dockery was warned that she is “banned” from the building and should not return.
