EARL BELL
CLARKSVILLE, Texas—The Rev. Earl King Bell, 73, of Clarksville died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Bell was born Jan. 20, 1939. He was retired from Texas Department of Highway and Public Transportation and Spiritual Five Gospel group and member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where he served in the senior and male choirs.
Survivors include his wife, Eddie Joyce Lockhart Bell of Clarksville; one daughter, Tevis Bell of Clarksville; one sister and brother-in-law, Marie Bell and Woodrow Curtis of Wichita, Kan.; one brother and sister-in-law, Harry Dean and Catherine Bell of Denton, Texas; two granddaughters, Lakeysha Bell of Longview, Texas, and Carry Bell of Tyler, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Jamia Lacy of Tyler; one special friend, Sarah Rosser of Clarksville; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Ozell Roberts officiating. Arrangements will be under direction of Citizen Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
