STAMPS, Ark.—Carolyn Ann Smith, 61, of Magnolia, Ark., died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in a Magnolia hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Magnolia. She was a member of Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the mission board, choir and president of the treasure. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeArtis Smith; one son, LeArtis Jr.; and one granddaughter, Mercedes.

Survivors include two sons, Eric and Bernard Smith of Magnolia; one daughter, Denesha Frazier of Magnolia; five brothers, Sidney McCree of Magnolia, Johnny McCree of Bossier City, La., Charles McCree of Irving, Texas, J.C. McCree of Dallas and the Rev. Christopher McCree of Seattle; two sisters, Josie Murray of Shreveport, La., and Ruthie McCree of Dallas; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Christopher McCree officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
