Employee acts quickly, keeping fire damage to minimum at salvage yard

A burned SUV is pictured Tuesday in the lot of U-Auto-Pull-It Auto Parts just outside of Nash city limits. The vehicle was in the process of being drained of fluids when a saw that was cutting fuel straps on the vehicle sparked the fire. No injuries were reported.

Quick thinking by a Nash, Texas, salvage yard employee kept a gas-fueled fire from turning into something more dangerous Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
