DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Morie Davis, 93, of Lone Star, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, in a Jefferson, Texas, nursing home.

Ms. Davis was born Sept. 3, 1919, in Jefferson. She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pops Landing Church of Christ, Ore City, Texas, with Melvin Smith officiating.
