De QUEEN, Ark.—Rose Mae Pitchford, 77, of Dierks, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in a Dierks hospital.

Mrs. Pitchford was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Holly Creek, Okla. She was retired from Weyerhaeuser and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elza “Jody” Pitchford; and two sons, Coy Pitchford and Elmer Pitchford.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin Pitchford and Roy Pitchford of Dierks; two daughters, Caroline Halcombe of Dierks and Tina Richardson of Mabank, Texas; four brothers, James Goodman of Enid, Okla., Minor Goodman of Wright City, Okla., Ted Goodman of Broken Bow, Okla., and John Goodman of Valliant, Okla.; three sisters, Ruby Partridge of Wright City, Tillie Flowers of Holly Creek and Mattie Johnson of Broken Bow; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today in Dierks Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Fant officiating. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home, Dierks.
