ATLANTA, Texas—James William Malone, 83, of Atlanta died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in a Texarkana, Texas, nursing home.
Mr. Malone was born March 10, 1929, in Atlanta. He was a retired sales manager with Baxter International Medical Supply, elder of Beacon Street Church of Christ, Gun Barrel City, Texas, member of Church of Christ, Atlanta and National Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Brunette Malone; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jerry Collins of Denton, Texas, Terri and Jimmy Hill of Atlanta and Kim and Ralph Nolan of Plano, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Jeweline and Robert Cameron of San Antonio; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Church of Christ, Atlanta with Jacob Rutledge and Ken Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
