De QUEEN, Ark.—Jason Dale Parks, 26, of Bossier City, La., died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.

Mr. Parks was born May 29, 1986, in De Queen. He was a conductor for KCS railroad, attended Gillham First Baptist Church and was an Army Reserve veteran.

Survivors include one son, Jami Donald Parks of Longstreet, La.; his parents, Glenda Harder Parks of De Queen and Vernon Parks and Brenda Wedehase of Cameron, La.; one brother, Dall Parks of Cove, Ark.; his grandparents, Gail Reves Parks of Gillham and Charlene and Ernie Lebleu of Lake Charles, La.; one special friend, Keri Welch of Camden, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in McHorse Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
