Splash pad opens today at Spring Lake Park

Jesus Paris, with Ar-Tex Landscaping, lays sod down for the splash pad Thursday at Spring Lake Park. The long-awaited feature opens today near George Dobson Field at the park.
Children and the young at heart will have a cool place to fend off hot temperatures as the long-awaited splash pad opens today in Texarkana, Texas.
The pad is at the former site of the swimming pool at Spring Lake Park, near George Dobson Field.
