HOPE, Ark.—Cynthia Jefferson, 57, of Nashville, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mrs. Jefferson was born Dec. 31, 1954, in Chicago. She was an employee of Tyson Foods and a member of New Testament House of Prayer, Guernsey, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willie Jefferson.
Survivors include one daughter, Arnita Walton of Mineral Springs, Ark.; five sons, Willie Joe Jefferson of Hope, Nathan Jefferson of Texarkana and Lee Jefferson, Shelton Jefferson and Shawrell Jefferson of Nashville; two sisters, Lisa Meekins and Teresa Austin of Tyler, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Nashville Auditorium. Burial will be in Camp Springs Cemetery, Columbus, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
