Martha Jane Fant, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Fant was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Gurdon, Ark. She was retired from Red River Army Depot; an employee of Orthopedic Specialists; member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, and Willing Workers Sunday school class; and attended Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe L. Fant.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carolyn Fant of Wake Village, Texas; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Jessica and Gary Morris of Wake Village and Monica and Collins Bruner of Texarkana; one grandson and his fiance, Jonathan Fant and Ashley Watts of The Colony, Texas; two great-grandsons, Aidyn and Logan Morris of Wake Village; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Preston Greenwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church, St. James Episcopal Church or First Baptist Church, Moores Lane.
