Law enforcement agencies have found possibly three devices which might be pipe bombs and were checking Wednesday afternoon to determine if the alleged bombs were fake.

A device was reportedly found in a vehicle parked inside Red River Army Depot and two devices found along the right-of-way on the access road west of Gander Mountain.

Bowie County Chief Deputy Larry Parker said the sheriff’s department was contact about noon by law enforcement officers at Red River Army Depot about a suspected pipe bomb found in a vehicle.

The Red River depot officials said the man who reportedly had a bomb in the vehicle said two more devices were tossed out of a vehicle window on the access road west of Gander Mountain.

The U.S. Air Force bomb squad from Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, La., was summoned to help pick up the devices found along side the access road.

“We don’t know if the devices were hoax,” said Parker.
