More than 56 percent of voters favored TC

More than 56 percent of the 25,427 votes cast Tuesday were in favor of making all of Bowie County the taxing district for Texarkana College.

The expansion will add $3.5 million to the college’s coffers in fall 2013 and give Bowie County students in-district tuition.
