NEW BOSTON, Texas—Terry Dixon Pipkin, 74, of New Boston died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in a Dallas hospital.

Mr. Pipkin was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Padacuh, Texas. He was an oil, gas and mineral properties appraiser and charter member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Plano, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita F. Pipkin. 

Survivors include his wife, Sue Pipkin; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Morris and Amy Pipkin of Carrollton, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Terilyn and Bruce Babb of Odessa, Texas, and Jennifer White of Euless, Texas; one stepdaughter, Tricia Lynn Hooker of New Boston; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Tapp United Methodist Church with the Revs. Charles W. Stokes, Rick Ivey and Brian Waddell. Arrangements will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held after the services.
