L. Curtis Smith, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, November 17, 2012. 

Mr. Smith was born November 23, 1928, in Talco, Texas, living the majority of his life in Texarkana. He was an automobile dealer and owner of Curtis Smith Auto Sales until retirement. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, and a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Navy. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jackie Smith, one daughter, Rene King and son-in-law Bill King, two grandchildren, Curt King and Jacqueline King, one brother, Marcus Smith, of Texarkana, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012, at St. James Episcopal Church, 417 Olive, Texarkana, Texas, with Father David Faulkner officiating. Private burial services will be held in honor of Mr. Smith. Arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
