NEW BOSTON, Texas—Marjorie E. “Mimi” Lantz, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Lantz was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Shreveport, La. She was owner of Next Door, LTD; recipient of 1994 Wilbur Award and a Baptist.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and George Merchant; one sister, Ima Paris; three brothers, Buck Lantz, Mike Lantz and Jimmy Lantz; two grandsons, Chad Merchant and Tod Merchant; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Comforter Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
