Elinor H. Smith, 98, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 19, 1914, in Cale, Ark. She was formerly employed with SkyBells and Dot and Ann’s, former member of First United Methodist Church and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Smith.

Survivors include one sister, Betty Meisch of Jasper, Texas; one brother, Garland Hay of Little Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
