Christine Phillips Hay, 90, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hay was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Ben Lomond, Ark. She was a program executive officer; Mapping Your Future counselor; volunteer for Girl Scouts; former Parent Teacher Association president; and member of Texarkana, Texas, School Board and Williams Memorial United Methodist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Hay.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Bruce and Carol Hay of Palestine, Texas, and Phil and Linda Hay of Corinth, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ann and Ronnie Hagen of Carrollton, Texas; six grandchildren; and one aunt, Marsha Ford Paludan of Ashdown. 

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Retirement Community with the Revs. Danny Wayman and Dale Vickers officiating. Arrangements will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
