HOPE, Ark.—Clyde Lyndon Scroggins, 91, of Hope died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Scroggins was born July 12, 1921, in Springfield, Mo. He was owner of Scroggins Tire Store and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vadie Janelle Scroggins.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Glen Dale and Judy Scroggins of Hope; one daughter, Linda Kay Allen of Hope; two brothers, O.C. Scroggins and Henry Scroggins of Benton, Ark.; two grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Kenny Lee Scroggins and Glenda Gale and Bob Newton; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Glenn Tropp officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
