STAMPS, Ark.—Royce Berry Powell, 72, of Doddridge, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

Mr. Powell was born Dec. 12, 1940, in Hope, Ark. 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Powell of Doddridge; three sons, Royce E. Powell of Bloomburg, Texas, Patrick R. Powell of Texarkana, Texas, and Anthony D. Powell of Doddridge; two daughters, Elizabeth Hatos of Doddridge and Juanita Coleman of Old Washington, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one aunt, Williemay Pritchett of Texarkana; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home with Jeffery Hatos officiating. Burial will be in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Patmos, Ark.å

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
