Emergency meeting set for water park funds

The Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors have called a meeting for 3:30 p.m. today to discuss the Arkansas Convention Center/Water Park.�

According to the agenda, directors will consider a resolution approving the final incentives for the Arkansas Convention Center/Water Park, as well as authorize City Manager Harold Boldt to seek funding not to exceed $1,063,523 for the Arkansas Convention Center/Water Park through Amendment 78.

The meeting will occur in the board room of City Hall.�
