Rachel Nichole Pittman pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder Friday in the deaths of a Redwater family.

Pittman, 18, killed Amanda Doss and her children, Texas Johnson and Guinevere Doss, in the family’s Redwater home May 11, 2011.

Judge Leon Pesek of the 202nd District Court sentenced Pittman to two life sentences to run concurrently. She will be eligible for parole in 30 years.

The teenager was set to stand trial for capital murder starting Monday in Rusk County.
