The Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors approved a resolution in a special called meeting Friday to seek funding for the Arkansas Convention Center/Water Park not to exceed $1,063,523. 

Mayor Wayne Smith said the item was originally scheduled for the Jan. 22 regular meeting agenda.
