New A&M chief takes helm
Cutrer emphasizes student engagement and access

Dr. Emily Cutrer, newly named president at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, meets with local press for the first time Tuesday morning on the Bringle Lake campus. Cutrer comes to Texarkana from California.
As a native Texan, Dr. Emily Fourmy Cutrer is thrilled to be starting her first semester as president of Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
And she says she already feels right at home in Texarkana.
