The Twin City Black History Association will host a special guest speaker at its annual scholarship banquet.

Jerry “Boo” Mitchell, an award-winning reporter for The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss., will speak at the banquet at 6 p.m. Feb. 2 at Northridge Country Club.
