MARIETTA, Ga.—Everett Cecil Nolen, 79, of Douglassville, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.

Mr. Nolen was born in Delight, Ark. He was retired from Marine Corps and member of Battle Hill Masonic Lodge, Combat Correspondents Association, Torrey Oaks Golf Club, Douglassville Hunting Club and American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Zelda Nolen; one daughter and son-in-law, Velda Nolen and David Pick of Hammond, Ind.; one son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Lesa Nolen of Tyner, N.C.; one sister, Ruby Currie of Poway, Calif.; one stepbrother, Edwin C. Arnold, of Fountain Valley, Calif.; one grandson, Jody Nolen; his mother-in-law, Ethel Mae Beasley of Fouke, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Emma Jo Black of Fouke; and a number of other relatives.

Services with Masonic and military rites will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton. 

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at West Cobb Funeral Home.
