HOPE, Ark.—Velda Jean White Latcham, 83, of Hope died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Latcham was born June 29, 1929, in Ozark, Ark. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheryl Latcham.

Survivors include her husband, E.C. Latcham; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Kenneth Madlock of Hope; four grandchildren, Jeff Madlock of Hope, Jenifer Donaldson of Albuquerque, N.M., Amanda Baker of Arkadelphia, Ark. and Michael Penderfraft of Blevins, Ark.; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorials may be made to Christian Clinic of Hope.

Arrangements are under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
