HOPE, Ark.—Billy Don Dougan, 77, of Hope died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in a local hospital.

Mr. Dougan was born Oct. 10, 1935, in Hope. He was a truck driver; a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as deacon; and an Army veteran. 

Survivors include his wife, Frances Porterfield Dougan; one son, Donnie Dougan of Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Clayton McNiel of Emerson, Ark.; two sisters, Virginia England of Hope and Linda Lear of Rodessa, La.; four grandchildren, Krystal Dougan, Kristi Dougan, Kourtney Sevenbergen and Brandi Meyers; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Dr. Hal Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Ayers Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
