HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Marion Berry, 91, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Berry was born March 21, 1921. He was a carpenter and member of Warlock United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corrine Berry; and one daughter, Catherine Berry.

Survivors include one sister, Carephaine Armstrong of Avinger, Texas; six nieces, Nadine Armstrong of Avinger, Marilyn Armstrong, Wanda Armstrong and Brenda McCracken of Dallas and Ester McDonald and Gloria Ford of Marshall, Texas; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mims Chapel Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
