LINDEN, Texas—Lillian Godwin, 79, of Douglassville, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in a Linden nursing home.

Ms. Godwin was born July 1, 1933, in Paoli, Ind. She was a homemaker and Baptist. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Faith Ann Cook.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary and John Holoubek, Reva Cook, Tricia and Jason Rhodes, and Charity Godwin; one son, Calvin Godwin; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Red Hill, Texas, with Neil Adams officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem 

Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at the church.
