Roy “JR” Washington, 70, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in Toledo. 

Mr. Washington was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Bradley, Ark. He was a production worker and a Jehovah’s Witness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Washington.

Survivors include one son, Dee Washington of Toledo; three brothers, Larry Hamilton of Dallas, Marvin Hamilton of Texarkana and Anthony Kirland of Watts, Calif.; one sister, Linda Washington of Texarkana; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lyles Funeral Home with the Rev. David Elijah officiating.
