NEW BOSTON, Texas—William Otho Tidwell Sr., 73, of Higginsville, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Tidwell was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Golden, Okla. He was a retired maintenance worker and Baptist. He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn Tidwell.

Survivors include his wife, Francis Tidwell of Higginsville; one son, William Billy Tidwell Jr. of Hooks, Texas; four daughters, Paula Saldonia, Melody Willis, Brenda Adams and Shannon Solida of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Tidwell of Sacramento, Calif., and Bobby Tidwell of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Thaddie Mae Lykins of Independence, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Louis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Nash, Texas.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
