Texarkana, Ark., School DIstrict’s Board of Education will consider appointment today of a superintendent for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years. 

The board posted the meeting at 3:26 p.m. today and meets in special session at 5:30 p.m. at the administration building. 

Arkansas Open Meetings law allows two hours notice for special and emergency meetings.

The board interviewed three candidates for the job this week.
