• Derrick Mead of Pretty Prairie, Kan., leads in the starting minutes of Run the Line half-marathon Sunday in Texarkana. This is the sixth year for the race. Mead finished 16th in the men’s division with a time of 1:28:06.2.
New champions were crowned Sunday at the sixth annual Run The Line Half-Marathon in Texarkana.
Nicklas Huff, 20, who placed third last year, was the overall winner with a time of 1 hour, 18 minutes, 9 seconds over the 13.1-mile course on both sides of Texarkana’s State Line. Published: 02/18/2013
