Ludean Askins, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Askins was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Maud, Texas. She was a retired seamstress, a homemaker and member of Faith Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Askins; one son, Mackey Askins of Texarkana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and David Walker of Genoa, Ark., and Lawanna and Jimmy McClure of Texarkana; two brothers, Wayne Lynn and J.C. Lynn of Fouke, Ark.; one sister, Ouida Stephenson of Boerne, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Revs. Don Brankel and Bryan McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Fouke.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
