HOPE, Ark.—Ruthie Jean Cooper Palmer Ariyo, 64, of Los Angeles died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Ariyo was born April 6, 1948, in Hope. 

Survivors include six children, Glynis Johnson Tryon of Fort Worth, Texas, and Detrees Palmer, Latisha Woodard, Willie James Keller, Jarvis Woodard and Aaron Charles London of Los Angeles; one brother, Aaron Taylor of Patton, Calif.; and one sister, Velinda Turner of Hope.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery, Fulton, Ark.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
