STAMPS, Ark.—Fred Threadgill, 93, of Magnolia, Ark., died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in a Magnolia hospital.

Mr. Threadgill was born June 16, 1919, in Magnolia. He was an automobile mechanic.

Survivors include three sons, Emmet Keener Threadgill, Dale Threadgill and Fred Threadgill Jr. of Magnolia; seven daughters, Doris Biddle, Laura Threadgill and Joyce Leaks of Magnolia, Jewel Garret of Dallas, Betty Porter of Las Vegas, Joann Thomas of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Mary Lee Rone of Los Angeles; 31 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Free Union Baptist Church, Magnolia, with the Rev. L.E. Burns officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
