About 20 arrests warrants were served this morning by state and national law enforcement agencies in a “large-scale drug-trafficking conspiracy” investigation in Southwest Arkansas.

A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. today at the Columbia County Courthouse to explain the arrests occurring in Magnolia, Waldo, and surrounding areas, including Texarkana, Texas, and Arkansas, Miller County,Ark., and Dallas.

The law enforcement agencies involved include the FBI, Arkansas State Police and local law enforcement agencies.
