Hosea Spanhanks, 80, of Fouke, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, in a local hospital.

Mr. Spanhanks was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Nashville, Ark. He was a retired machinist with Red River Army Depot, a member of Faith Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Spanhanks; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Mike and Gayla Spanhanks, Bobby Spanhanks, Larry and Twyla Spanhanks and Jerry and Shirley Spanhanks; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Tim Perkins and Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
