HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Geneva Stewart Ryle, 92, of Hughes Springs died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Ryle was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Malvern, Ark. She was retired from General Dynamics of Lone Star Steel Co. and co-owner of a plumbing business and Ryle’s Variety Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Hiram Ryle; one son, M.F. “Bub” Ryle; and one grandson, Stewart Lee Clark.

Survivors include one daughter, Nita Clark of Hughes Springs; two special friends, Nathan and April Jones; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Hughes Springs. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
