Derrick Charles Still, who walked away from Southwest Arkansas Community Correction Center in Texarkana on Saturday, has been apprehended.

Arkansas Community Corrections Deputy Director Dina Tyler said Still was taken into custody at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at a mobile home in rural Van Buren County, Ark.

A manhunt for Still has been under way since he escaped SWACCC.

Tyler said information was developed that Still, whose residence of record is Van Buren, was holed up in a mobile home in a rural area of the county.

“When officers with our Special Response Team and officers with the Arkansas State Police and Van Buren County Sheriff's Office showed up, they found him there, in the kitchen. He was taken into custody without incident,” Tyler said.
