Lacy, Crabbe file petitions to run as independents for Bowie County offices
Two candidates, one a current Bowie County office holder and the other seeking office for the first time, have filed their petitions to run as independents on the November ballot.
Bowie County Judge Sterling Lacy has filed his petition with more than 500 signatures to run as an independent for the post.
Harlan Barry Crabbe has also filed his petition to run as an independent candidate for treasurer with more than 500 signatures.
Today was the deadline for the men to file the petitions.
