Texarkana, Texas, police officers are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday at a convenience store in the 800 block of Richmond Road, an official said.

Patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery at a little before 7 a.m. Wednesday, said Shawn Vaughn, TTPD public information officer.

The clerk advised that three black males who appeared to be in their 20s entered the store. At least one of the subjects had his face covered with some type of cloth, according to reports.

One of the subjects immediately pointed a gun at the clerk while a second went around the counter and removed the money from the cash register as the clerk backed away, Vaughn said.

All three subjects were last seen running southwest across Richmond Road. An undetermined amount of money was taken during the robbery. There were no injuries.

Attached are pictures of a person of interest in the robbery taken by a surveillance camera at the store.
