Today was a ducky day for six winners in the 25th annual Great Texarkana Duck Race.

Zooming into first place was a duck adopted by R. and A. Falcon of Texarkana, Texas. The Falcons won the grand prize, a 2014 Kia Forte donated by Gregg Orr Classic Kia.

Coming in second was a duck adopted by Sandy Varner of Texarkana, Ark. Varner’s prize was a $1,000 gift certificate provided by Super 1 Foods.

Dorothy Walker’s duck earned her a $1,000 gift certificate for dry cleaning and laundry from Holiday Cleaners.

Ducking in at the fourth spot was a duck adopted by Tim Nash of Texarkana, Texas. Nash won a Mayo chair and ottoman donated by Lafferty’s Home Center.

Landing in fifth place was a duck adopted by Kristopher Freeman of Tyler, Texas. Freeman won a Yeti Cooler, given by Ledwell Machinery.

Claiming the sixth and final spot was a duck adopted by Dr. Bobby and Evelyn Pinkner of Texarkana, Texas. The Pinkners won a Trollbeads bracelet, donated by Alexander’s Jewelers.

The duck race is put on by CHRISTUS St. Michael Foundation.
