TEXARKANA, Texas -- Texarkana Police and Fire officials are still investigating a single vehicle car crash that left one person dead about 2 a.m., Saturday morning near the Martin Luther King Boulevard and Wood Street intersection.
Texas-side Fire Marshall Chris Black said the vehicle, make and model unknown, had a single occupant and apparently caught fire and burned after crashing into a tree near the intersection.
Black said Texas-side police are currently in investigating circumstances surrounding the crash.
Currently, Black said he had no information as to whether the driver was either male or female.
